At Grace Dunedin we are committed to a presbyterian leadership, where our pastors are also elders.
We have several pastoral teaching positions, as well as deacons that function together to provide leadership to our church.
Azriel is the family pastor at GBC.
He is married to Melissa & they have 3 sons. Azriel likes riding motorbikes, mountain bikes & tinkering with projects in his garage.
Melissa enjoys working with food and providing hospitality, board games & playing the piano.
David [Director], Emily, Irene and Megan loved University so much they never left and now spend their days hanging out with students, loving them, serving them and seeking to share the gospel with them. It's quite possibly the best job in the world as the opportunities for life-on-life evangelism and discipleship in a critical life stage are second to none. Each of the staff members love working with the students and we have a great appreciation for one another and the blessing of being on a team together.
Stuart serves as an elder and part-time teaching pastor. He preaches mainly at Late Church, speaks for us at other churches, and is involved in our campus ministry and presbytery. Stuart grew up in Sydney & Auckland, and was involved in campus ministry and theological ed., before coming to Dunedin in 2009. He has a PhD in history, and supports the NZ cricket and St. George Rugby League teams. He is married to Gail, and they have three children. Stuart also serves as Associate-Principal Dunedin for Grace Theological College www.gtc.ac.nz.
Gail serves on the Pastoral Care team, and presently co-ordinates a morning and an evening ladies Bible study. She enjoys spending time with people, reading, and taking time to delight in God's creation.
Bill works as a technology teacher at Tahuna Intermediate and especially enjoy teaching Robotics and Electronics.
Karen works as the administrator at Liberton Christian School and volunteers at Red Cross working with former refugee families.
We both appreciate the blessing of growing up in Christian families. We have been married for nearly 30 years and have four grown children and two grandchildren. We enjoy hosting a homegroup on Wednesday evenings during school term time and facilitate the beginning stages of Church membership. God’s grace, love and mercy continue to challenge and grow our lives.
Caleb and Alison Gray have been involved with Grace since its early days. Caleb loves anything and everything mechanical and technical.
Alison enjoys gardening and reading when time allows, and helps with the administration at Grace. Their three children bring variety and fun to life. They are thankful for God's all-sufficient grace, and that Jesus offers hope for a broken world.
Bruce & Alison have attended GBC since 2008 after moving from a farm in the Catlins. Bruce is a deacon, helping out as church treasurer and the music team, while Alison helps out as a sunday school teacher.
They have three grown sons and now get the pleasure of visiting their four grandchildren. Bruce works for Ballance Agri-Nutrients as a storeman & enjoys reading in his spare time. Alison spends a lot of time in the garden and doing crafts.
